All systems go for the fifth Asian Tyre and Rubber Conference (ATRC2019). The curtain will be raised for the mega event with the theme “Automation Technology: Future Reality in Manufacturing” on June 20, 2019, at Hyatt Regency in Chennai, India. This is the biggest edition of ATRC till date and around 250 delegates are expected to participate. Just a week away for the landmark event, which has now attained its final shape.

Anant Goenka, Managing Director of CEAT Tyres will inaugurate the two-day conference, and deliver the Keynote Inaugural Address. Kamal Bali, Managing Director and Member of Board, Volvo India, will be Special Invitee at the event. He will deliver the Special Invitee Address in the Inaugural Session. Harm Voortman of VMI, Holland, will deliver the Opening Address. Antony Powath, President, Asian Business Media (ABM) will welcome the gathering.

The conference will start off with the first Technical Session focusing on “Digital Manufacturing Industry 4.0’. The session on the first day (June 20) morning will be chaired by PK Mohamed, Chief Advisor, Apollo Tyres, India.

The first presenter will be Adnan Cemalovic, Global Account Manager, VMI, EDGIQ. His paper will be on “The Perfect Input For Your Tire Building Process.” It will be followed by Peter Haan, Head-Global VMM Tire, Siemens, Germany. He will talk on “Integration and Transparency of Tyre Productions by Digitalization.” Veli-Matti Hakala, Sales Manager, CIMCORP, Finland will focus his presentation on “How Industry 4.0/IIoT Can Help Tire Manufacturers to Improve Their Production Processes and Productivity. The final paper in the first session is by Aki Nurminen,

Project Manager, Black Donuts on “Automation, Information and Management Through The Entire Production Chain.”

ATRC 2019, organized by Tyre Asia magazine from Asian Business Media (ABM), will have six Technical Sessions on two days chaired by industry veterans and papers presented by global experts in the field. Veterans from the leading automobile manufacturers also will be part of the event.

Over the past four editions ATRC, which is a biennial event, has become a global brand among leading industry conference in its technical details and organizational finesse.
