The preparations for the fifth Asian Tyre & Rubber Conference (ATRC2019) have reached the homestretch with the details of the Technical Sessions getting into shape. The two-day event will be held at Hyatt Regency in Chennai, India, on June 20 and 21.
The conference will start off with the first Technical Session focusing on “Digital Manufacturing Industry 4.0. The session on June 20 morning will be chaired by PK Mohamed, Chief Advisor, Apollo Tyres, India.
The first presenter will be Adnan Cemalovic, Global Account Manager, VMI, EDGIQ. His paper will be on “The Perfect Input For Your Tire Building Process.” It will be followed by Peter Haan, Head-Global VMM Tire, Siemens, Germany. He will talk on “Integration and Transparency of Tyre Productions by Digitalization.” Veli-Matti Hakala, Sales Manager, CIMCORP, Finland will focus his presentation on “How Industry 4.0/IIoT Can Help Tire Manufacturers to Improve Their Production Processes and Productivity. The final paper in the first session is by Aki Nurminen, Project Manager, Black Donuts on “Automation, Information and Management Through The Entire Production Chain.”
Spread across two days ATRC 2019 will have six Technical Sessions chaired by industry veterans and papers presented by global experts in the field. The final details of the conference, organized by Tyre Asia magazine from Asian Business Media (ABM) are falling into place. Tom Thomas, Executive Director, Technology & Projects, CEAT Tyres, is the Chairman of ATRC.
Experts from leading automobile manufacturers also will be part of the event themed on “Automation Technology – Future Reality in Manufacturing.”
Anant Goenka, Managing Director of CEAT Tyres, will inaugurate ATRC 2019 and deliver the Keynote Inaugural Address. Kamal Bali, Managing Director and Member of Board, Volvo India, will be Special Invitee at the event. He will deliver the Special Invitee Address in the Inaugural Session. Harm Voortman of VMI, Holland, will deliver the Opening Address.
